Interaktivní seminář - workshop Mgr. Luďka Štěpánka, arteterapeuta a adiktologa s 25 lety praxe v Psychiatrické nemocnici Jihlava. Účastníci seznámí se specifiky práce arteterapeuta v psychiatrické nemocnici vzhledem k diagnóze pacientů (pacienti neurotičtí, psychotičtí, schizofreničtí, gerontologie, adiktologie), volba a zpracování témat, výběr výtvarných prostředků a možnosti rozboru výtvarného díla. Možnosti využití výsledků arteterapeutického působení ve spolupráci s dalšími odborníky v nemocnici. V praktické části si účastníci sami vyzkoušejí některé arteterapeutické postupy včetně jejich interpretace.

Rosana Neves - Skin and Transformation Workshop - Henna body art in Art Therapy

The ancestral body art with henna has been used for millennia by the oldest cultures of humanity, with purposes ranging from aesthetic and expressive, to ritualistic and transcendent. The regions where henna body art developed are places where the henna plant (Lawsonia Inermis) grows naturally, meanning desert regions. In each of these regions (Africa, around the Mediterranean, Middle East, North and Northwest India), with its local culture, its own way of expressing art in henna also developed, with specific rituals, graphic style, and symbols. Used as an amulet of protection or blessings, but always as an act of love and care, the designs created on the spot could surprise both, artist and recipient, with the resulting symbolic combination, bringing comfort and security through the blessings received.
Taking into account the symbolic potential of this traditional art as a rite of passage, the raw material henna as a material, in addition to being organic, tactile and aromatic; and the support, the body, as an extension of consciousness, that is, body and mind as a whole in a dynamic unit, I researched and sought to explore the therapeutic potential of body decoration with henna in art therapy with groups of women, as a means of revealing unconscious contents, on the path of healing and individuation.
At this workshop I am going to present some theory about this research, and two practical art therapy activities using henna I have already used with my clients.

Rosana Araujo is Brazilian, and has a master's degree in visual arts from the School of Fine Arts of Rio de Janeiro. In 2005, she learned the traditional art of body decoration with henna in India from a local teacher, and upon returning to Brazil she became the first professional of this modality in Latin America. Throughout her work as an artist, she was able to notice the positive impact that body art with henna had on her clients, and this instilled such curiosity in her that it led her to study art therapy so that she could work with henna in a deeper way, in addition to of the skin, but at the level of the psyche. Rosana was able to experience the use of henna in art therapy during her supervised internship, and presented the results of her research at the 20th Portuguese Art Therapy Congress in 2019. In 2021 she moved to the Czech Republic and in 2023 she finally completed her training in art therapy after delivering her monograph and internship report, both based on her research into henna in art therapy. She is currently completing a chapter on the subject, in a collectively authored book on Art Therapy with groups of women.

Workshop Mgr. Lucie Antes, arteterapeutky pracující s klienty s duševním onemocněním a další různorodou tematikou. Účastníci se seznámí s metodou fraktální kresby - s její diagnostickou i terapeutickou částí. Obsahem workshopu bude i teoretické ukotvení metody a možnosti jejího využití v individuální a skupinové práci. V praktické části si účastníci vyzkouší kreslení dle stanovených pravidel, poznají základní specifika analýzy kreseb a naučí se nastavit cíle pro terapeutickou část kresby.
